Love Your Body at Any Age

I just finished reading an article that I really enjoyed. The article is in Ladies' Home Journal and the title is "Size Doesn't Matter. Confidence Does."

The article showcases women between the ages of 25 and 60 posing in their underwear.  The women are all difference colors, shapes and sizes. Some of theses ladies would like to lose a few pounds.  One in particular wants to gain a few pounds and get her curves back. And others are very satisfied with the way that their bodies are shaped.  The one things that all of these ladies has in common is confidence.

No matter what body type they have, they feel good about themselves and are not ashamed.  Some of them say that they have tried all kinds of diets and pills in the past with no success.   One lady in particular who is a little on the heavy side says that she does yoga, walks, and eats more natural foods and has learned to be comfortable with her curves.  Her doctors also says that all of her numbers are fine. This proves that it is more important to be healthy than to be skinny.  

Each lady focuses on the things that make their body great instead of focusing on their flaws.  This article is very inspirational to me and hopefully a lot of other women.  I think that we should learn to love ourselves and feel good about our bodies.

All of the ladies in the article look beautiful no matter what size they are. I hope that everyone reading this realizes the same thing about themselves.

Don't quit before the blessing.

I have been associated with so many work at home opportunities and home business that I can not keep count.  Some of them were a waste of time, but a lot of them were great opportunities.  I guess a lot of people want to know why I have jumped around from business to business if I came across so many good ones.  The reason is the same as it is for most other people in the same situation.  We often quit before the blessing. For some reason, when it comes to work at home opportunities we expect to see instant results.  We sometimes forget that building an online business takes time, patience and hard work just like any other business.  We think that if we place ten online ads today, we should have a hundred orders tomorrow.  This is not the case. We have to understand that a person may see an ad ten times before they ever decide to visit the website.  And even then, they may have to continue seeing that ad and visit that site a few more times before they decide to make a purchase.  It is all about being consistent. If you are consistently working and promoting yourself and you business, you will eventually see the results that you desire.  It pays to network and socialize with others.  It is also important to treat an online business just as you would any other business.  I have had to set a schedule for myself and treat my business like a job.  If you choose to work your business here and there whenever you feel like it then you will never reach your full potential.  With this being said, I hope that everyone is having a great Monday, & I wish you all much success. Do you build your business using social media?

There are so many opportunities to get your business and yourself in front of millions of people using social media.  I have been using it for a while, but I have not been doing enough to be successful with it.  I sometimes have to remind myself that it is not just about blasting my ads to people.  Relationships and rapport building are more important.

I use Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and of course IBO to promote my opportunites.  I am trying to build my network and brand myself as a leader.  Some of the daily actions that I am going to start focusing on are:  

1. Post atleast onces a day.  2-3 times is better.

2. Provide value and inspiration.

3. Be someone who people want to follow.

4. Promote my business without posting ads.  This can be done by just updating my status letting people know what I am doing and how much flexibility I have working at home.

5. Share personal pictures and videos as well as inspirational videos and quotes.

6. Be social.

Just doing these small things will help me to improve my visibility and brand myself.  I have been networking and connecting with some great people since I realized how important relationship building is.  I also share and promote other people's opportunities. When I give back and pay it forward, other people often return the favor.

These are just a few of the things that I am going to try when building my business on social media.  I am still learning and would welcome any advice, tips or suggestions from other.
